In most cases(some contracts are an exception),the original document and this routing slip N/A should be provided to the County Attorney Office at the time the item is input into SIRE. Some documents are time sensitive and require forwarding to Tallahassee within a certain time frame or the BCC's actions are nullified. Be aware of your deadlines! 8. WHEREAS, Collier County Board of County Commissioners submitted a Grant Application to National Fitness Campaign(NFC) for participation in its 2020 initiative to install and activate free-to-the public outdoor Fitness Courts®; and WHEREAS,NFC notified Collier County it was selected to receive a$90,000 National Grant for three free-to-the public outdoor Fitness Courts®; and WHEREAS, it is in the best interest of the citizens of Collier County to accept the $90,000 National Grant from NFC,and provide a local match in the amount of$314,000 to promote and implement three free-to-the-public outdoor Fitness Courts®; and WHEREAS, the Collier County Board of County Commissioners believes the outdoor Fitness Court® is an important wellness ecosystem that supports healthier communities, commits to funding/fundraising to participate in NFC's 2020 Campaign, and will earn local and national recognition as a leader in providing affordable health and wellness. NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF COLLIER COUNTY,FLORIDA,that: The Board of County Commissioners accepts the grant funds and allocates the matching funds.
