The DEP will cut back on the recent beach renourishment project funding on the basis that when a County Resident parks at metered parking with a beach parking permit sticker they do not have to pay, but visitors do. The resolve would be to modify the parking policy so that when a Collier County Resident requests a parking sticker, $30.00 would be placed in the Parking Fund; the funds would have originated from their County Tax. Non-County residents would then have the opportunity to pay $30.00 for a beach parking permit sticker. 4 January 16, 2007 Jim Mudd added that the City of Naples receives revenues from the metered parking. If there are any offsets of revenues they would be given to the City of Naples from the County through the $30.00 Parking Fund. d. TDC Grant Application for FY 07-08 VIII.
