Resolution 2007-016 RESOLUTION NO. 2007-16 A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF COllIER COUNTY, FLORIDA TO APPOINT MARIA C. MITCHEll TO THE COllIER COUNTY HISPANIC AFFAIRS ADVISORY BOARD. WHEREAS, Collier County Ordinance No. 91-37, creating the Hispanic Affairs Advisory Board, provided that the Advisory Board shall consist of seven (7) members; and WHEREAS, Collier County Ordinance No. 91-78 amended Ordinance No. 91-37 by providing that the Hispanic Affairs Advisory Board shall consist of nine (9) members; and WHEREAS, there is currently a vacancy on this board; and WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners previously provided publiC notice soliciting applications from interested parties; WHEREAS, the Hispanic Affairs Advisory Board has provided the Board of County Commissioners with its recommendation for appointment. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF COLLIER COUNTY, FLORIDA, that Maria C. Mitchell is hereby appointed to the Collier County Hispanic Affairs Advisory Board to fulfill the remainder of the vacant term plus an additional 4 year term, said term to expire on June 25, 2011.
