Resolution 2020-124RESOLUTION NO. 2020 - 124 A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF COLLIER COUNTY, FLORIDA, REAPPOINTING MARJORIE BLOOM, MICHAEL GORDON, AND SARAH BAECKLER DAVIS, TO THE ANIMAL SERVICES ADVISORY BOARD. WHEREAS, Collier County Ordinance No. 2004-06 established the Animal Services Advisory Board to generate community involvement in order to aid the Collier County Domestic Animal Services Department; and WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 2004-06 provides that this Advisory Board shall consist of seven members who represent the areas of expertise as set forth in the Ordinance; and WHEREAS, three seats on this Advisory Board expired on July 13, 2020; and WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners previously provided public notice soliciting applications from interested parties; and WHEREAS, the Animal Services Advisory Board has provided the Board of County Commissioners with its recommendations for reappointment. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF COLLIER COUNTY, FLORIDA, that MARJORIE BLOOM, as an at - large member, MICHAEL GORDON, representing veterinarians/vet techs, and SARAH BAECKLER DAVIS, representing the Humane Society of Collier County, are each hereby individually reappointed to their seats on the Animal Services Advisory Board, to four-year terms expiring on April 13, 2024.
