Storm track and intensity and other factors could reduce the number. u Listen to Radio, TV, and monitor social media for shelter updates. u Shelter Staffing teams from County Employees, School District Employees, Red Cross, Sheriff and mutual aid law enforcement for security. u Large COVID-19 response kits have been assembled for the Shelter Sites. Operations u Response and Recovery! u Local State of Emergency: u Consider an earlier implementation of a Local State of Emergency with or without evacuations. Associated activities may take longer with COVID -19 concerns. u Ensure County employees have ample time to address family concerns and prepare for emergency roles and provide for shelter set-up!
