A RESOLUTION APPOINTING MEMBERS TO
TilE PARKS ANI> RECREATION ADVISORY BOARD.
WHEREAS. the Parks and Recreation Advisory Board was crcnled on No\'cmber 25. 1975,
and was composed of five (5) memhers: anu
WHEREAS. the Board OfC'oullty C'olllmissionen, on OClober 25. 1993, adopted Ordinancc ,

No. 93-81 which increased the memhership from live (5) members to seven (7) members; and
WHEREAS, thcre nre currclltly two (2) vacancies on this Board under the categories of
Urban Area Community Park Districl and thc Immokalee Area Community Park Dislrict; and
WHEREAS, Ihe Board of County Commissioners previously provided public noticc
soliciling applicalions from interested parties.
NOW. THEREFORE. BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY
COMMISSIONERS OF COLLIER COUNTY. FLORIDA,that:
1. Karin E. English is hereby appointed 10 represent the Urban Area Community Park
District to fulfilllhe remainder of the V:lcanlteml, said term expiring December 31, 1998.
2. Edward "Ski" Olesky is herehy appointed to represent Ihe Immokalee Area Community
Park District to fulfilllhe remainder oflhe vacant term, said term expiring December 31, 1998.
