Resolution 2006-259 CRA CRA RESOLUTION NO. 06- 259 A RESOLUTION OF THE COLLIER COUNTY COMMUNITY REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY, COLLIER COUNTY, FLORIDA; AUTHORIZING THE CONTRUBUTION OF FUNDS TO THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS FOR THE PURCHASE OF THE PROPERTY IN THE GATEWAY TRIANGLE REDEVELOPMENT AREA TO PROVIDE FOR A STORMWATER MANAGMENT AREA (GATEWAY TRIANGLE STORMWATER IMPROVEMENT PROJECT (PROJECT NO. 518031)); AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE. WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners (Board) adopted Ordinance Number 00-42, establishing the Redevelopment Trust Fund and appointing the Board as the governing body of the Community Redevelopment Agency (CRA) and the trustee of the Redevelopment Trust Fund. WHEREAS, this Resolution is adopted pursuant to the provisions of the Florida Constitution, Chapter 163, Part III, Florida Statutes, and other applicable provisions of law; and WHEREAS, the CRA is authorized to contribute funds to another government, Section 163.400 (l)(d), Florida Statutes; and WHEREAS, Collier County is desirous of purchasing certain property as described in Exhibit A attached hereto, within the Bayshore/Gateway Triangle Redevelopment Area for the purpose of providing water management facilities; and WHEREAS, these facilities will greatly benefit the Bayshore Gateway Triangle Redevelopment Area; and WHEREAS, the proposed water management facilities are consistent with the Gateway Triangle Redevelopment Plan for the Area. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMUNITY REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY OF COLLIER COUNTY, FLORIDA, that: SECTION 1. The CRA hereby authorizes the contribution to the Board of County Commissioners of Collier County, Florida the sum of Five Hundred Twenty-Nine Thousand and 00/100 Dollars ($529,000.00) for the purpose of purchasing the property described in Exhibit A, attached hereto for water management purposes. 1.~ This Resolution adopted after motion, second and majority vote on this ~ (.. - day of ~ft~ M. ~Q r-, 2006.
