A RESOLUTION REAPPOINTING ROBrmT c. BENNETT. .JR.. TO
TilE COLLIER COUNTY WATER AND WASTEWATER AUTIIORITY
WIJEREI\S. Collier COllllty Ordinance 1\:0. %-(>. created the Collier Coun1y Water and
Wastewater Utilities Regulatory Ordinance and pmvides that the Authorily shall he composed of
five (5) members appointed hy the Board or County Commissioners; and
WHEREAS, Ordinance No. %-6 provides that three (3) members or the Authority shall bc
technicalmclllhcrs and tv,:o (2) 1llelll!Jl:rS of the Authority shall he lay memhers; and
WHEREAS. thcre is currcntly a vacancy on this hoard under the category of lay memher;
and
WHEREAS, the Board or County Commissioners previously provided puhlic notice
soliciling applications from interested parties.
i\OW. THEREFORE. BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY
CO:v!;..llSSIOj\ERS OF COLLIER COUNTY. FLORIDA. that Robert C. Ben nell, Jr.. is hereby
reappointed in the lay member category to the Collier County Water and Wastewater AUlhmily
for a 4 year teml, said leml to expire on May 21.2002.
This Resolution adopted after motion. second and majority vote.
