RESOLUTION NO. 98-...lQ.4
RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING FINAL
ACCEPTANCE or THOSE ROADWAY,
DRAINAGE, WATER AND SEWER
IMPROVEMENTS IN HIGHLANDS HABITAT,
RELEASE OF THE MAINTENANCE SECURITY.
AND ACCEPTING THE MAINTENANCE
RESPONSIBILITY FOR TIlE ROADWAY.
DRAINAGE. WATER AND SEWER
IMPROVEMENTS THAT ARE NOT REQUIRED TO
BE MAINTAINED BY THE HOMEOWNERS
ASSOCIA TION.
WHEREAS. the Board of County Commissioners of Collier County. Florida, on
Septemher 5, 11)95. approved the plat of Highlands Habitat for recording; and
WHEREAS, the developer has constructed and maintained the roadway, drainage,
water and sewer improvements in accordancc with thc appro\'cd plans and specifications
and as required hy the Land Developmcnt Code (Collicr County Ordinance No. 91-102,
as amended); and the Utili tics Standards and Procedures Ordinance (Collier County
Ordinance No. 4J7-17). and
WHEREAS, the dcveloper has now requested linal acceptance of the roadway.
drainage, watcr and sewer improvements and release of his maintenance security; and
WHEREAS. the Compliance Services Section of the Development Services
Departmcnt h(ls inspccted the roadway. drain(lge, water and sewer improvements and is
recommending acceptance of said facilities.
;-':0\\',1 HEREFORE. BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY
COM~llSS10l':ERS OF COLLIER COUNTY, FLORIDA. that final acceptance be
grantcd for those roadway, drainagc. watcr and scwer improvemcnts in Highlands
Habitat, and authorizc the Clerk to release the maintenance security.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED AND ORDERED that the County accept the
future maintenance and othcr attendant costs for the roadway and drainage, improvements
tllLlt are not required to be maintained by the homeowners association. The water and
sewcr fncilities will be maintained by the Immokalee Watcr-Sewer District.
This Resolution adopted aller motion. second and majority vote favoring same.
