RESOLUTION NO. 2000-~
RESOLUTION RENAMING WEST A VENUE TO
WEST STREET, WHICH STREET IS LOCATED
IN THE PINE RIDGE SUBDIVISION, AS
RECORDED IN PLAT BOOK 3, PAGE SIC AND
PLAT BOOK 4, PAGE 24 OF THE PUBLIC
RECORDS COLLIER COUNTY, FLORIDA.
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners is authorized pursuant to authority of
Chapter 336.05, Florida Statutes, to name or rename streets and roads, except for certain state
roads; and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners has been requested to confirm the
renaming of West Avenue to West Street. This street is located in the Pine Ridge Subdivision
according to the plat thereof, recorded in Plat Book 3, Page SIC and Plat Book 4, Page 24, of the
Official Records of ColIier County, Florida;
WHEREAS, there appears to be no street in Collier County with this name or any similar
sounding name; and
WHEREAS, it is necessary for identification purposes to confirm the name of this street,
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY
COMMISSIONERS OF COLLIER COUNTY, FLORIDA, that:
The name of this street is hereby changed from West Avenue to West Street and is
confirmed as such.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this Resolution be recorded in the Public Records of
Collier County, Florida, and noted upon the maps of the streets and Zoning Atlas of Collier
County, and notations made on the referenced Plats.
This Resolution adopted after motion, second and majority vote.
