WIIEREAS, Gary Franco, from Ihe Collier County Parks ami Recrealion Deparlment,
representing Ihe Collier County noard of COllnty Commissioners, requests << varianee from the Coastal
C'<1llmllClion Setback Line (CCSL) as required by Collier Counly Ordinance No, 91-102 Division J.D, as
amcnded 10 allow for the slorage of beach concession cquipment and construction of a concession st:ll1d on
the beach <<l Vandcrbilt Cleach Cnllnty Park: and
WI J EREAS, the subject properly i5 located on lhe bcach at Vanderbilt Beach County Park; aod
WIIEREAS, the petilioner proposes 10 conSlmCI a eight fOOl by eight foal concession stand to
prnvide concession services to the public; and
WIIEREAS, lhe pelitioner proposes to slore renlal ilems on lhe beach in an area approximalely
twelve fl'el by twelve feel; and
WIIEREAS, the proposed concession stand and storage area will extend approximately one
hundred se\'en ( 107) feel seaward Ilf the adopted coastal construction setback line (CCSL): and
\\'1 IEREAS, the petilion IS consistent wilh the Collier Couoly Land Development Code Division
3.13, as amended; and
WHEREAS, Ihe petilion is consistent with the Collier County Growlh Management Plan _
Conservation and Coastal Management Element.
