RESOLUTION NO. 98-14
A RESOLUTION CONFIRMING TilE APPOINTMENT OF GAIL DOLAN
TO THE EMERGENCY MEDICAL SERVICES ADVISORY COUNSEL.
WHEREAS. Collier County Ordinance No. SO-80 created the Emergency Medical Services
AuvisOl)' Council and provides that the Advisory Council shall he composed of eleven (11)
regular members. three (3) ex-officio members and two (2) staffmembers; and
WHEREAS, the Board aJopted Resolution No. ()()-527 on Octoher JO, I ()()O which revised
and updated the Emergency Medical Services Advisory Council's by-laws hy providing that the
Advisory Council includc two memhers At Large; and
WHEREAS. there: is cllrr\:nily a vacancy on this Council; and
WHE.REAS. lhe Hoard ofCoLJnty Commissioners previously provided puhlic notice
soliciting applications from interested parties; and
WHEREAS. a recommcndation for appointment was received from the Emergency Medical
Services Advisory Council;
NOW, THEREFORE. BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY
COMMISSIONERS OF COLLIER COUNTY. FLORIDA. that (Jail Dolan is herehy contirrnl.:d
for aprointment to the Flllcrgency Medical Services Advisory Counci I for the remaindcr of the
\'acant tcml. said lerm expiring August 3], 19')9.
