RESOLUTION NO. 99-67
A RESOLUTION APPOINTING AND REAPPOINTING MEl\fBERS TO
TilE LELY GOLF ESTATES BEAUTIFICATION ADVISORY COJ\fMITTEE
WIIEREAS, Collier County Ordinance No. 87-69 created the Lely Golf Estates
Beautification Advisory Commitlee and provides that the Committee shall be composed of five
(5) members; and
WHEREAS, there are currently three (3) vacancies on this board; and
WHEREAS, 'the Board of County Commissioners previously provided public notice
soliciting applications from interested parties.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE 80ARD OF COUNTY
COMMISSIONERS OF COLLIER COUNTY, FLORIDA, that:
J. William C. Erickson is hereby appointed to the Lely Golf Estales Beautification
Advisory Committee for the remainder of the vacant term, said term to expire October 1,2001.
2. Ellery J. LePain is hereby reappointed to the Lely Golf Estales Bcaulification Advisory
Commitlce for a four year tenn, said lenn to expire October 1,2002.
J. Robert J. Weyers is 11ereby reappointed to the Lely Golf Estates 8eautification Advisory
Committee for a four year term, said lerm to expire October 1,2002,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Board of County Commissioners of Collier County
hereby waives the provisions of Section Seven (b)(I) of Ordinance No. 86-41, as amended,
relating to a limitation of two consecutive terms of office, for the purpose of reappointment of
George C. Pearson 10 this Committee.
This Rcsolution adoptcd after motion, second and unanimous vote.
