EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
Recommendation to approve a Resolution for final acceptance of the public roadway and drainage
improvements for a portion of that roadway known as Logan Boulevard North, adjacent to the
Stonecreek Community, approximately 1.5 miles of two-lane divided roadway, together with a 10’
multi-use pathway, Permit No. PRROW20190103055. (This is a companion item to Agenda Item
16.A.1.)
OBJECTIVE: To have the Board of County Commissioners (Board) accept the infrastructure
improvements associated with that portion of the roadway known as Logan Boulevard North.
CONSIDERATIONS:
1) On November 20, 2012, this portion of road Right-of-Way was conveyed to Collier County via
OR Book 4856, Page 2763 of the Public Records of Collier County, Florida.
2) The landscape improvements will be maintained by the Stonecreek Property Owners Association,
and a Landscape Maintenance Agreement must be approved as a companion item.
3) The required improvements have been constructed in accordance with the Land Development
Code. The Growth Management Department has inspected the improvements on December 2,
2019 and is recommending final acceptance of the improvements.
4) A resolution for final acceptance has been prepared and approved by the County Attorney's
Office. The resolution is a requirement of Section 10.02.05 C of the Land Development Code. A
copy of the document is attached.
FISCAL IMPACT: The roadway and drainage improvements within the Right-of-Way will be
maintained by Collier County through the Transportation Services Division Operations and Maintenance
Budget. The Stonecreek Property Owners Association will maintain the landscaping within the right -of-
way at their own expense.
GROWTH MANAGEMENT IMPACT: There is no growth management impact associated with this
action.
LEGAL CONSIDERATIONS: This item has been approved as to form and legality, and requires a
majority vote for Board approval. - SAA
RECOMMENDATION: To grant final acceptance of the roadway and drainage improvements in the
subject portion of Logan Boulevard North, and authorize:
1. The Chairman to execute the attached resolution authorizing final acceptance of the
improvements.
