PROCLAMATION
WHEREAS, Trinity Life Foundation Incorporated - Naples Florida, a 501(3)
charitable organization, was founded on the principle of making a
difference for at-risk minority children in Collier County; and,
WHEREAS, Trinity Life Foundation acts as an intermediary between the
Juvenile Justice System and local agencies who provide support
systems for at-risk children in our community; and,
WHEREAS, Collier County honors Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. bay, the
established national holiday in his recognition on the third Monday
of January, to commemorate the life and achievements of the
influential American civil rights leader; and,
WHEREAS, Trinity Life Foundation has established the Dr. Martin Luther King
Jr. Prayer Breakfast, the first recognized event of such in Collier
County, in further celebration of the works of Dr. King; and,
WHEREAS, the inaugural celebration, Friday, January 17, 2020, establishes
the Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Prayer Breakfast as a premier
annual event, the proceeds of which will go towards supporting the
mission of Trinity Life Foundation.
NOW, THEREFORE, be it proclaimed by the Board of County Commissioners of
Collier County, Florida, that January 17, 2020, be designated as
OR. MARTIN LUTHER KING JR. PRAYER BREAKFAST DAY
IN COLLIER COUNTY
