EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
Recommendation to reappoint a member to the Golden Gate Community Center Advisory Board.
OBJECTIVE: To reappoint one member to the Golden Gate Community Center Advisory Board to
serve a three-year term expiring on December 31, 2022.
CONSIDERATIONS: This 5-member committee was created by Ord. No. 75-4, as amended, to advise
the Board of County Commissioners on the budget and operation of the Golden Gate Community Center.
Members must reside within the boundaries of the Golden Gate Community Center Municipal Services
Special Taxing District. Terms are 3 years. A list of the current membership is included in the backup.
There is one seat on this committee expiring on December 31, 2019. The pending vacancy was
advertised, and the following applications were received:

COMMITTEE RECOMMENDATION: The committee voted to recommend that the Board of County
Commissioners reappoint Mr. Arthur to the committee, to a three-year term which shall expire on
December 31, 2022. A recommendation email is included in the backup.
FISCAL IMPACT: None.
GROWTH MANAGEMENT IMPACT: None.
RECOMMENDATION: That the Board of County Commissioners adopts the Committee
Recommendation and directs the County Attorney to prepare a resolution confirming the reappointment.
