RESOLUTION NO. 2000-288
A RESOLUTION DESIGNATING PAMELA S.
MAC'KIE, DISTRICT 4 COMMISSIONER, AS
CONTACf PERSON OF THE BOARD OF
COUNTY COMMISSIONERS FOR FUNDING
FOR RESTORATION OF mE EVERGLADES.
WHEREAS, Commissioner Pamela S. Mac'Kie received a letter from Senator Burt L.
Saunders, requesting that the Board of County Commissioners designate Commissioner Mac 'Kie
as a key contact person of the County Commission in an effort to obtain federal funding for the
restoration of the Everglades.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY
COMMISSIONERS OF COLLIER COUNTY, FLORIDA, that Pamela S. Mac'Kie, District 4
Commissioner, is hereby designated as the key contact person of the Collier County Commission
to represent Collier County in its effort to obtain federal funds for the restoration of the
Everglades.
This Resolution adopted after motion, second and majority vote.
