EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
Recommendation to approve two donation agreements for the conveyance of drainage easements
(Parcels 445DE and 446DE) required for Gulfview Drive. Estimated Fiscal Impact: $1,000.
OBJECTIVE: To obtain two drainage easements to replace a failing drainage pipe off Gulfview Drive.
CONSIDERATIONS: An underground drainage pipe off Gulfview Drive is failing. Two drainage
easements (Parcels 445DE and 446DE) are needed to replace the pipe to avoid flooding in the area. The
property owners, Mr. and Mrs. Weston and Ms. Linda Williams, have agreed to convey the drainage
easements to the County without compensation.
FISCAL IMPACT: The fiscal impact associated with this item is estimated to be $1,000 for title work,
subordination and recording fees. Funds are available in Storm Water Fund (103), Cost Center 172929.
LEGAL CONSIDERATIONS: This item has been approved as to form and legality and requires a
majority vote for Board approval. - JAB
GROWTH MANAGEMENT IMPACT: This recommendation is consistent with the Long Range
Transportation Plan and the Collier County Growth Management Plan.
RECOMMENDATION:
. Approve the attached donation agreements and authorize the Chairman to execute same on behalf of
the Board;
. Accept the conveyance of Parcel 445DE and 446DE and authorize the County Manager, or his
designee, to record the conveyance instruments in the public records of Collier County, Florida;
. Authorize the payment of all costs and expenses that Collier County is required to pay under the
terms of the donation agreements to close the transactions;
. Authorize the County Manager or his designee to take the necessary measures to ensure the County’s
performance in accordance with the terms and conditions of the donation agreements; and
. Authorize budget amendments that may be required to carry out the collective will of the Board.
