signed by the Chairman, with the exception of most letters, must be reviewed and signed
by the Office of the County Attorney.
4. All handwritten strike-through and revisions have been initialed by the County Attorney's SRT
Office and all other parties except the BCC Chairman and the Clerk to the Board
5. The Chairman's signature line date has been entered as the date of BCC approval of the SRT
document or the final negotiated contract date whichever is applicable.
6. "Sign here"tabs are placed on the appropriate pages indicating where the Chairman's SRT
signature and initials are required.
7. In most cases(some contracts are an exception),the original document and this routing slip SRT
should be provided to the County Attorney Office at the time the item is input into SIRE.
Some documents are time sensitive and require forwarding to Tallahassee within a certain
time frame or the BCC's actions are nullified. Be aware of your deadlines!

LETTER AGREEMENT TO PROVIDE GRANT WRITING TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE

Re:Grant Writing Technical Assistance
Mayor Grimm,
Pursuant to your letter to Dr.Yilmaz dated July 31,2019, it is the mutual intent of Collier County(County)
and the City of Everglades City("City")to provide grant writing technical assistance in the form of applying
for grants and funding sources to financially assist the operation and improvement of the City's utility
system. This Letter Agreement To Provide Grant Writing Technical Assistance (the "Letter Agreement")
shall serve as the lone document for the requested assistance.
The assistance will be provided through the county's contract with Angie Brewer and Associates("ABA")
for a period of up to twelve(12)months. The total cost of service for the time period commencing October
22, 2019 and ending on October 21, 2020 shall not exceed $100,000 to be shared equally between the
County and the City. The ABA proposal number 102-900-1202 is attached and is an integral component
to this Letter Agreement,with the parties'point of contact with ABA as Mark Brewer.
ABA shall provide detailed monthly billing to each party to this Letter Agreement and each party agrees
to comply with the Prompt Payment Act of the State of Florida. Failure to pay invoices issued by ABA
within the timeframe specified in the Prompt Payment Act shall render this Letter Agreement null and
void and result in the immediate termination of this Letter Agreement. The failure to immediately
terminate this LOI shall not be deemed a waiver of either party to this Agreement to subsequently
enforcing the right to reimbursement consistent with the terms of this Letter Agreement.
