A RESOLUTION APPOINTING TUCKY P. RAMSEY TO
THE EMERGENCY MEDICAL SERVICES ADVISORY COUNCIL.
WHEREAS, Collier County Ordinance No. 80-80 created the Emergency Medical Services
Advisory Council and provides that the Advisory Council shall be composed of eleven (II)
regular members, three (3) ex-officio members and two (2) staff members; and
WHEREAS, the Board adopted Resolution No. 90-527 on October 30, 1990 which revised
and updated the Emergency Medical Services Advisory Council's by-laws by providing that the
Advisory Council include two members At Large; and
WHEREAS, there is currently a vacancy on this Council; and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners previously provided public notice
soliciting applications from interested parties; and
WHEREAS, a recommendation for appointment was from the Emergency Medical Services
Advisory Council.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOL YED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY
COMMISSIONERS OF COLLIER COUNTY, FLORIDA, that Tucky P. Ramsey is hereby
appointed to the Emergency Medical Services Advisory Council to fulfill the remainder of the
vacant term, said term expiring August 31, 2002.
This Resolution adopted after motion, second and majority vote.
