A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF
COLLIER COUNTY, FLORIDA, REAPPOINTING STEPHEN HRUBY
AND LITHA BERGER TO THE AFFORDABLE HOUSING ADVISORY
COMMITTEE.
WHEREAS, on July 31, 1991, the Board of County Commissioners adopted Ordinance
No. 91-65 establishing the Affordable Housing Advisory Committee; and
WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 91-65, as subsequently amended, on April 9, 2013 was
repealed and replaced by Ordinance No. 13-27, which recreated and reestablished the Affordable
Housing Advisory Committee in accordance with F.S. § 420.9076. This Advisory Committee
consists of eleven voting members appointed by the Board of County Commissioners based on
the membership categories described in F.S. § 420.9076(2)a.-k.; and
WHEREAS, there are currently vacancies on this Advisory Committee; and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners previously provided public notice
soliciting applications from interested parties; and
WHEREAS, the Advisory Committee has provided the Board of County Commissioners
with its recommendation for reappointment.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY
COMMISSIONERS OF COLLIER COUNTY, FLORIDA, that STEPHEN J. HRUBY,
representing the category of Residential Home Building Industry, F.S. 420.9076(2)a; and LITHA
BERGER, representing the category of Real Estate Professional, F.S. 420.9076(2)g, are hereby
each reappointed to their respective seats on the Affordable Housing Advisory Committee to
terms expiring on October 1, 2022.
THIS RESOLUTION ADOPTED upon majority vote this 8th day of October, 2019.
