Resolution 2000-170 %(!,/ RESOLUTION NO. 2000-170 A RESOLUTION TO EXTEND THE TERM OF THE COLLIER COUNTY COMMUNITY HEALTH CARE COMMITTEE AND TO EXTEND THE TERMS OF MEMBERS OF THE COLLIER COUNTY COMMUNITY HEALTH CARE COMMITTEE. WHEREAS, on May 11, 1999, the Board of County Commissioners adopted Resolution No. 99-230, establishing the ad hoc committee known as the Collier County Community Health Care Committee; and WHEREAS, the purpose for creation of this ad hoc Committee is to review existing health care systems to determine where there was insufficient or inadequate access to health care in Collier County, and to report its findings and options for improvement to the Board of County Commissioners; and WHEREAS, the term of this ad hoc Committee expired on May 11, 2000; and WHEREAS, on May 23, 2000, the Committee requested that the Board of County Commissioners extend their term for 120 days so that the Committee could complete its review and provide a more comprehensive report to the Board. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF COLLIER COUNTY, FLORIDA, that: 1. The Board hereby extends the term of the Collier County Community Health Care Committee for 120 days, said term to expire on September 20,2000. 2. The Board hereby extends the terms of office of the members of the Collier County Community Health Care Committee for 120 days, said terms to expire on September 20,2000.
