RESOLUTION NO. 2000-81
A RESOLUTION CONFIRMING mE APPOINTMENT OF
FRED TARRANT TO THE TOURIST DEVELOPMENT COUNCIL.
WHEREAS, Collier County Ordinance No. 92-18, as amended, created the Tourist
Development Council and provides that the Council shall be composed of nine (9) voting
members pursuant to Section 125.0104(4)(e), Florida Statutes; and
WHEREAS, there is currently a vacancy on this board for the City of Naples; and
WHEREAS, on February 16, 2000, the Naples City Council adopted Resolution No. 00-8789
appointing Fred Tarrant to the Tourist Development Council.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOL YED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY
COMMISSIONERS OF COLLIER COUNTY, FLORIDA, that Fred Tarrant, as the City of
Naples Liaison, is hereby confirmed for appointment to the Tourist Development Council for a 4
year term, said term to expire on April 21, 2004.
This Resolution adopted after motion, second and majority vote.
