EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
Recommendation to appoint four members to the Housing Finance Authority.
OBJECTIVE: To appoint one member and reappoint three members to the Housing Finance Authority
to four-year terms expiring on September 11, 2023.
CONSIDERATIONS: This five-member authority was created by County Ordinance No. 80-66 on July
29, 1980, pursuant to Chapter 159, Part IV, Florida Statutes as a governmental body authorized to issue
tax exempt bonds. A majority of the members shall be knowledgeable in one of the following fields:
labor, finance, or commerce. Terms are 4 years. A list of the current membership is included in the
backup.
Four seats on this authority will expire on September 11, 2023. The pending vacancies were advertised
and applications were received from the following:

ATTENDANCE: Ms. Bradach has had perfect attendance in the past two years, and Mr . Prioletti and
Mr. Lind have had nearly perfect attendance.
STAFF RECOMMENDATION: That Ms. Bradach, Mr. Prioletti, and Mr. Lind be reappointed to the
authority, and Mr. Rubenstein be newly appointed, to four -year terms expiring on September 11, 2023.

FISCAL IMPACT: None.
GROWTH MANAGEMENT IMPACT: None.
RECOMMENDATION: That the Board of County Commissioners adopts the Staff Recommendation,
and directs the County Attorney to prepare a resolution confir ming the appointment and reappointments.
