RESOLUTION NO. 2000-48
A RESOLUTION APPOINTING MEMBERS
TO THE TOURIST DEVELOPMENT COUNCIL.
WHEREAS, Collier County Ordinance No. 92-18, as amended, created the Tourist
Development Council and provides that the Council shall be composed of nine (9) voting
members pursuant to Section 12S.0104(4)(e), Florida Statutes; and
WHEREAS,
WHEREAS, there are curren.tly two (2) vacancies on this board; and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners previously provided public notice soliciting
applications from interested parties.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY
COMMISSIONERS OF COLUER COUNTY, FLORIDA. that:
I. Jerry Thirion, Jr., representing the category of owner/operator, is hereby reappointed to
the Tourist Development Council to fulfill the remainder of the vacant term, said term expiring
April 21, 2003.
2. Kevin M. Durkin, representing the category of owner/operator, is hereby reappointed to
the Tourist Development Council to fulfill the remainder of the vacant term, said term expiring
April 21, 2002.
This Resolution adopted after motion, second and majority vote.
