RESOLUTION RENAMING C.R. 951 AND S.R.
951 TO COLLIER BOULEVARD, WHICH
STREET IS LOCATED IN THE GOLDEN GATE
ESTATES SUBDIVISION, UNITS I, 2, 3, 4, 26,
27, AND 28, AND IN TOWNSHIPS 48, 49, 50,
AND 51 SOUTH, RANGE 26 EAST, COLLIER
COUNTY, FLORIDA.
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners is authorized pursuant to authority of
Chapter 336.05, Florida Statutes, to name or rename streets and roads, except for certain state
roads; and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners has been requested to confirm the
renaming of c.R. 951 and S.R. 951 to Collier Boulevard. This street is located in the Golden
Gate Estates Subdivision, Units 1,2, 3,4,26,27 and 28, as recorded in Plat Book 4, Pages 73,
75,77 & 79, and Plat Book 7, Pages 15, 17 & 19, respectively, of the Official Records of Collier
County, Florida, and in Sections 27 & 34, Township 48 South, Range 26 East, Sections 22, 27 &
34, Township 49 South, Range 26 East, Sections 3, 10, 15, 22, 27 & 34, Township 50 South,
Range 26 East, Sections 3, 10, 15,22,27,28, & 33, Township 51 South, Range 26 East, Collier
County, Florida.
WHEREAS, there appears to be no street in Collier County with this name or any similar
sounding name; and
WHEREAS, it is necessary for identification purposes to confirm the name of this street,
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY
COMMISSIONERS OF COLLIER COUNTY, FLORIDA, that:
The name of this street is hereby changed from C.R. 951 and S.R. 951 to Collier
Boulevard and is confirmed as such.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this Resolution be recorded in the Public Records of
Collier County, Florida, and noted upon the maps of the street and zoning atlases of Collier
County, and notations made on the referenced Plat.
This Resolution adopted after motion, second and majority vote.
