EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
COMMISSIONER REQUEST FOR BOARD APPROVAL FOR PAYMENT TO
ATTEND FUNCTION SERVING A VALID PUBLIC PURPOSE
OBJECTIVE: For the Board of County Commissioners to deelarc a valid public
purpose for a Commissioner to attend function/event and approve payment by the Clerk.
CONSIDERATIONS: Pursuant to Resolution No. 99-4 I 0, the Board of County
Commissioners has detcmlined that attendance at the functions ofti'aternal, business,
environmental, educational. charitable. social. professional, trade, homeowncrs, ethnic,
and civic association/organizations serves a valid public purposc, provided that said
functions reasonably relatc to Collier County matters.
COMMISSIONER: Donna Fiala
FUNCTION/EVENT: Kite Realty Group Luncheon
PUBLIC PURPOSE: To discuss with Kite Realty operating propel1ies in District One
DATE OF FUNCTION/EVENT: Wednesday. Decembcr 12.2007
FISCAL IMPACT: $13.00 Funds to be paid from Commissioner's travel budgct.
RECOMMENDATIOl\': That the Board of County Commissioncrs, in accordance with
Resolution No. 99-410, approve pcl)'I11Cnt by the Clerk for Commissioner Donna Fiala to
attend function serving a valid public purpose.
