OBJECTIVE: For lhe Board of County Commissioners to declare a valid public
purpose for a Commissioncr to attend funelion/event and approve payment by the Clerk,
CONSIDERATIONS: Pursuant 10 Resolution No, 99-4] 0, the Board of County
Commissioners has determined thaI attendance at the functions of fraternal, business,
environmental. educational. eharitable, social. professional. trade, homeowners, ethnic,
and civic assoeialion/organizalions servcs a valid public purpose, provided that said
functions reasonably relate to Collier County matters,

PUBLIC PURPOSE: To attend and speak at the Kiwanis Club of Grcalcr Collier
Luncheon and network with constituents,

RECOMME"IDATION: That the Board ofCounly Commissioners, in accordance with
