OBJECTIVE: Award Bid #08-5015 'Davis Blvd. Phase II (Airport Road to County Barn
Road) M.S.T.D Roadway Grounds Maintenance Contract'" to Caribbean Lawn & Garden of SW
Naples Fl Inc. in the amount of $71.354.00 for approximately two (2) miles of landscaping and
ilTigation.
CONSIDERATIONS: On Nov"mber 16. 21107, the Purchasing Dcpartment sent o LIt one
hundred and seventy-four (174) notices fill' the Davis Blvd. Phase II (Airport Road to County
Barn Road) M.S.T.D Roadwav (irounds Maintenance Contract. On December 3. 2007. a

mandatory pre-bid meeting was held. On December 12, 2007 seven (7) bids were opened. Staff
reviewed the bids and recommends awarding to the lowest, apparent low hidder Caribbean Lawn
& Garden of SW Naples FI, Inc. in the amount 0:"$1] 354.00.

RECOMMENDATION: That tbe Board of County Commissioners award Bid #08-5015 "Davis
Blvd. Phase ]J M.S.T.D (Airport Road to County Barn Road) Landscape Maintenance Contract"
to Caribbean Lawn & Garden of S W Naples FI Inc. and authorize the Cbairman to execute the
standard contract after review by the County Attorney's Office in the amount of $7 1 ,354.00
