APPOINTMENT OF MEMBER(S) TO THE OCHOPEE FIRE CONTROL DISTRICT
ADVISORY COMMITTEE
OBJECTIVE: To appoint 1 memner to fulfill the remainder of a vacant seat, expiring on
December 3 1,2008, to the Ochopee Fire Control District Advisory Committee.
CONSIDERATIONS: The Ochopee Fire Control District Advisory Committee has I vacant
seat with the term expiring on December 31,2008, representing the Chokoloskee area. This 5
member committee advises the Board on the nudget and operation ofthe Ochopee Fire Control
District. Members must reside within the taxing district. Terms arc 2 years. A list of the current
membership is included in the backup.
The term for Mr. Kent L. 0111er, Sr., expired on Decemner 3 I, 2006, and has neen vacant since
that time. Numerous press releases were issued and I resume was received from the following
interested citizen:
