EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
Recommendation to ratify additions to and a deletion from the 2008 Fiscal Year
Pay and Classification Plan made from October 2, 2007 through December 31,
2007
OBJECTIVE: To obtain approval from the Board of County Commissioners to ratify
additions to, and a deletion from, the 2008 Fiscal Year Pay and Classification Plan.
CONSIDERATIONS: Attached, as Exhibit 1, are additions to, and a deletion from, the
County's 2008 Fiscal Year Pay and Classification Plan that were made between
October 2, 2007 and December 31, 2007. One addition is a new classification which
can have County-wide application. The second addition is an upgrade of the
classification that is being deleted from the Pay Plan and is the result of an increase in
the nature and scope of responsibilities.
FISCAL IMPACT: The results of this action will have a fiscal impact to the County for
minimal salary adjustments which are absorbed by individual departments.
GROWTH MANAGEMENT IMPACT: There is no growth management impact
associated with this Executive Summary.
RECOMMENDATION: That the Board of County Commissioners ratifies the additions
to, and deletion from, the 2008 Fiscal Year Pay and Classification Plan.
