EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
Recommendation to recognize and accept revenue for Collier Area Transit in the
amount of $7,000 and to approve needed budget amendments,
OBJECTIVE: To recognize and accept revenue in the amount of $7,000 for Collier
Area Transit and to approve needed budget amendments,
CONSIDERATION: The Transportation Department of Collier County working with
the Developers of East Naples Industrial Park Lots 8, 34 and 35 collected $7,000 for
alternative transportation mitigation for operational impacts to Collier County, Collier
County Department of Alternative TranspOltation Modes received a check from
Exceptional Innovation, LLC in the amount of $7,000 for this mitigation used to support
Collier Area Transit in order to encourage the use of public transportation,
A budget amendment is needed to recognize the $7,000 revenue in Fund 426 Project
61011 for capital and operating assistance.
FISCAL IMPACT: To approve the budget amendment in the amount of $7,000 for
capital and operating assistance.
GROWTH MANAGEMENT IMPACT: Consistent with the Transportation Elements
in Objectives 10 and 12 of the Growth Management Plan,
RECOMMENDATION: That the Board of County COl11l11issioners recognizes and
accepts revenue in the amount of $7,000 for Collier Area Transit and approve needed
budget amendments,
