The Chabad Jewish Center of Naples is embarking on a historic project to write a Torah scroll for the community. To celebrate this wonderful occasion the community is invited on Sunday, January 20th at the Ritz-Carlton (280 Vanderbilt Beach Road) to inscribe the very first letters of this new Community Torah. I wish to personally invite you to our Community Torah inauguration & Celebration on Sunday, January 20 at 6:30 pm. To write a Torah from the start and exclusively for the Naples community is extremely precious and special. This event is a first for SWF. A Torah is the cornerstone of the Jewish faith, it is passed down from one generation to the next, guiding and teaching. Every Torah scroll across the world is identical in content, down to every last letter. The Torah is the most precious object in the Jewish faith, and the creation of a new Torah is a special celebration. I would be glad to give you the honor of inscribing one of the very first letters of this new Torah. May the Almighty enable you to continue to do your great work with an increased measure of health and happiness. With best wishes for you and your family, Rabbi Fishel zaklos 1/18/2008
