EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
Recommendation to recognize and accept revenue for Collier Area Transit bus
shelters in the amount of $42,600 and to approve all necessary budget amendments.
OBJECTIVE: To recognize and accept revenue in the amount of $42,600 for Collier
Area Transit bus shelters and to approve all necessary budget amendments,
CONSIDERATION: The Transportation Planning Department of Collier County
working with several developers collected a total of $42,600 for the construction of bus
shelters for Collier Area Transit in Collier County, Collier County Department of
Alternative Transportation Modes received a check from MDG Capital Corp,
(Arrowhead Reserve) in the amount of$10,000; a check from Treviso Bay on US 41 East
Trail in the amount of$27,600; and a check from Ram Development Company for a PUD
agreement in the amount of $5,000,
FISCAL IMPACT: A budget amendment is needed to recognize $42,600 in
contribution revenue and appropriate same within the bus shelter Project 60083.
GROWTH MANAGEMENT IMPACT: Consistent with the Transportation Elements
in Objectives 10 and 12 of the Growth Management Plan,
RECOMMENDATION: That the Board of County Commissioners recognizes and
accepts revenue in the amount of $42,600 for Collier Area Transit bus shelters and
approve all necessary budget amendments,
