EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
Recommend Approval of a Coastal Advisory Committee (CAC), Sub
Committee to evaluate Wiggins Pass Modeling and make recommendations
for consideration by the TDC and BCe. This committee is to be chaired by
Heidi Kulpa from the CAe.
OBJECTIVE: To approve a Wiggins Pass Modeling Evaluation Committee.
CONSIDERATIONS: The Wiggins Pass Modeling Evaluation Committee was created to look
at results from the modeling programs, and recommend an appropriate remedy to contain the
erosion and keep the Pass open to boaters. This should be achieved through solutions which are
the least impacting and most environmentally sensitive for this natural and dynamic system.
At the December 2007 CAC meeting it was recommended that a committee be set up and chaired
by Heidi Kulpa for the Wiggins Pass Modeling project.
The following individuals are proposed to serve on this evaluation committee and represent a
balanced cross section of Wiggins Pass stakeholders:
