CONSIDERATIONS: Pursuant to Resolution No, 99-410, the Board of County Commissioners has determined that attendance at the functions of fraternal, business, environmental, educational, charitable, social, professional, trade, homeowners, ethnic, and civic association/organizations serves a valid public purpose, provided that said functions reasonably relate to Collier County matters. COMMISSIONER: Donna Fiala FUNCTION/EVENT: Charles Collier Luncheon and Presentation PUBLIC PURPOSE: To participate in the Charles Collier Luncheon and Presentation and network with constituents. DATE OF FUNCTION/EVENT: Thursday, March 6, 2008 FISCAL IMPACT: $30.00 Funds to be paid from Commissioner's travel budget. RECOMMENDATION: That the Board of County Commissioners, in accordance with Resolution No, 99-4 10, approve payment by the Clerk for Commissioner Donna Fiala to attend function serving a valid public purpose. Mr. Collier will discuss the challenges and opportunities that families face and how breakthrough conversations can strengthen a family. He will also provide fresh insight on how to develop the four basic components that comprise true family wealth: human, intellectual, social and fmancial capital. The Bellasera Hotel is located at 221 Ninth Street South ( tamiami trail) in Naples. We will have valet parking available for guests of the luncheon.
