EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
Recommendation for the Board of County Commissioners to approve a budget amendment
to recognize revenue received for traffic accidents in the amouut of $33,871.23 and
appropriate within each fund center.
OBJECTIVE: To obtain approval from the Board of County Commissioners to approve a
budget amendment to recognize revenue received for traffic accidents in the amount of
$33,871.23.
CONSIDERATIONS: Funds were received and deposited into Fund III, MSTD General
Fund, in the amount of $33,871.23 for traffic accident reimbursements received through
collection efforts made through Risk Management and the Alternative Transportation Modes
Department. These funds must be recognized and appropriated to the appropriate fund cost
centers for reimbursement for services related to these incidents.
FISCAL IMPACT: Revenue in the amount of $33,871.23 was deposited in Fund ]] I, MSTD
General Fund. A budget amendment is required to recognize and appropriate the revenue
received.
GROWTH MANAGEMENT IMPACT: There is no Growth Management Impact associated
with this Executive Summary.
RECOMMENDATION: That the Board of County Commissioners recognize and approve all
necessary budget amendments.
