EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
Recommendation for the Board of County Commissioners to approve budget
amendments to reallocate funding on projects within Capital Road Funds.
Project 60168 and 60091.
OBJECTIVE: To approve budget amendments to shift funding for two capital road projects.
Vanderbilt Beach Extension SR 951 to Wilson Project 60168 and Santa Barbara Blvd Extension
Davis to Rattlesnake Road Project 6009 I.
CONSIDERATIONS: Santa Barbara Blvd Extension can be built out of neighboring Impact Fee
Districts. The budget amendments for this project are to shift funding within this project to share
cost between these Impact Fee Districts. Vanderbilt Beach Extension can be built out of several
Impact Fee Districts and Gas Taxes. The budget amendments for this project are to shift some of
that funding into Gas Taxes.
FISCAL IMPACT: Budget amendments are needed in the amount of $2,333,400 for the
Vanderbilt Beach Road Extension project to reduce funding in Impact Fee District 2 Fund 333 and
increase this same project in Gas Tax Fund 313. Budget amendments are needed in the amount of
$5,056,900 for the Santa Barbara Blvd Road project to reduce funding in Impact Fee District 4
Fund 336 and increase the project in Impact Fee District 6 Fund 338.
GROWTH MANAGEMENT IMPACT: There is no Growth Management Impact associated
with this Executive Summary.
RECOMMENDATION: That the Board of County Commissioners approve all necessary budget
amendments.
