EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
Recommend approval of a budget amendment totaling $522,000 from Parks
& Recreation Impact Fee Fund 346 reserves to fund purchasing of property to
provide off-site remote parking for Bayview Park Project 800603
OBJECTIVE: To approve a budget amendment totaling $522,000 from Parks & Recreation
Impact Fee Fund (346) reserves to fund purchasing of property to provide off-site remote parking
for Bayview Park.
CONSIDERATIONS: Collier County Commissioners directed Parks and Recreation to
purchase property in order to provide off-site remote parking for Bayview Park. This
procurement is in response to the Collier County Commissioners directive.
In order to complete the purchase of three (3) additional lots $650,000 will be required. The
additional funds from reserves of $522,000 will provide the additional funding needed in
Bayview Park Parking Lot Expansion project 800603. There is existing budget of $128,000 in
the Bayview Park Parking Lot Expansion project. This when added to $522,000 budget
amendment provides for the $650,000 total funding.
COUNTY ATTORNEY FINDING: This item has been reviewed and approved for form and
~, legal sufficiency by the County Attorney's Office. - CMG
FISCAL IMP ACT: A budget amendment totaling $522,000 is necessary moving dollars from
Parks & Recreation Impact Fee Fund (346) reserves to the Bayview Park Parking Lot Expansion
Project 800603.
GROWTH MANAGEMENT IMPACT: There is no impact to the Growth Management Plan
related to this action.
RECOMMENDATION: To approve a Budget Amendment totaling $522,000 from Parks &
Recreation Impact Fee Fund 346 reserves to fund the purchasing of property to provide off-site
remote parking for Bayview Park Parking Lot Expansion project 800603.
