PROCLAMA TION
WHEREAS, industry in Collier County is vital to the community's economic
health; and.
WHEREAS, Collier County's existing industries are the key to a prosperous
future: and,
WHEREAS, the recroitment of new companies with high-skilled. high-wage
job opportunities in Collier County is considered a priority for
Callier County; and,
WHEREAS, these industries help sustain our quality of life, exemplify high
standards of excellence and a positive, responsible approach to
economic diversification and community enhancement and provide
01/ citizens with an opportunity for upward mobility: and,
WHEREAS, public knowledge of the contribution made by industry is
essential to maintain a good community - industry relationship.
NOW THEREFORE, be it proclaimed by the Baat'd of County Commissioners of
Callier County, Florida, that the week of September J 5 - 20,
2008, be designated as
Industry Appreciation Week
