Resolution 2001-265 98 RESOLUTION NO. 2001-265 RESOLUTION APPOINTING EUGENE GREENER, JR., TO THE HISPANIC AFFAIRS ADVISORY BOARD. WHEREAS, Collier County Ordinance No. 91-37, creating the Hispanic Affairs Advisory Board, provided that the Advisory Board shall consist of seven (7) members; and WHEREAS, Collier County Ordinance No. 91-78 amended Ordinance No. 91-37 by providing that the Advisory Board shall consist of nine (9) members; and WHEREAS, there is currently a vacancy on this Board; and WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners previously provided public notice soliciting applications from interested parties; and WHEREAS, the Hispanic Affairs Advisory Board has provided the Board of County Commissioners with their recommendation for appointment to their Board. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOL VED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF COLLIER COUNTY, FLORIDA, that Eugene Greener, Jr., meets the prerequisites for appointment and is hereby appointed to the Hispanic Affairs Advisory Board for a 4 year term, said term to expire on June 25, 2005.
