PROCLAMATION
Item # 4C
WHEREAS, Team Unity Dance Team is comprised of students that aftef&mber 23, 2008
Estates Elementary, Saba/ Palm Elementary and Corkscrew MPOW 3 of 3
Schools; and,
WHEREAS, these students compete at the State and National levels in dance
competitions; and,
WHEREAS, this is a great opportunity for these team members to demonstrate
sportsmanship, character, education, teamwork, and healthy,
active lifestyies; and,
WHEREAS, Team Unity Dance Team has won 4 out of 5 first place National
titles in their dance division; and,
WHEREAS, the students /dancers will continue to compete at the State and
National levels.
NOW THEREFORE, be it proclaimed by the Board of County Commissioners of
Collier County, Florida; that September 23, 2008, be designated
as
Team Unity Dance Team Day
