RESOLUTION NO. 2001- 176
A RESOLUTION OF THE COLLIER COUNTY BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS
AUTHORIZING THE FILING OF A TRANSPORTATION DISADVANTAGED TRUST
FUND GRANT APPLICATION WITH THE FLORIDA COMMISSION FOR THE
TRANSPORTATION DISADVANTAGED.
WHEREAS, the Collier County Board of County Commissioners has the authority to fIle a
Transportation Disadvantaged Trust Fund Grant Application and to undertake a transportation
disadvantaged service project as authorized by Section 427.0159, Florida Statutes, and Rule 41-2, Florida
Administrative Code;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD THAT:
1. The BOARD has the authority to file this grant application.
2. The BOARD authorizes James D. Carter, Ph.D., Chairman to file and execute the
application on behalf of the Collier County BeC with the Florida Commission for the
Transportation Disadvantaged.
3. The BOARD authorizes James D. Carter, Ph.D., Chairman to sign to sign the
agreement (identical in all material aspects to the attached sample) as required in
connection with the application.
4. The BOARD authorizes David P. Hope, Public Transportation Manager, to sign any
and all assurances, reimbursement invoices, warranties, certifications and any other
documents which may be required in connection with the application or subsequent
agreements.
