Presentation to Lindy Adelstein for his seven years of service to the Collier County Board
of County Commissioners and to the citizens of Collier County while serving as a Planning
Commissioner, Collier County Planning Commission from September 25, 2001 to August 7,
2008.
OBJECTIVE:
To have the Collier County Board of County Commissioners (BCC) present a service award to
Mr. Lindy Adelstein for his seven years of service as a Planning Commissioner on the Collier
County Planning Commission.
CONSIDERATIONS:
Mr. Lindy Adelstein recently resigned from the Collier County Planning Commission after
serving faithfully and honorably for the past seven years in a volunteer status as a Collier County
Planning Commissioner. Given his laudable contributions to the economic, social, and cultural
well -being of the citizens of Collier County, it is fitting to present Mr. Adelstein this award for
his dedicated and faithful service to the Board of County Commissioners and the citizens of
Collier County during the period September 25, 2001 to August 7, 2008.
Education: Jurors Doctorate, Case - Western Reserve University (Cleveland)
Employment: Retired
Previous Employment: Worked 42 years as a Corporate Attorney and taught Criminal
Justice & Procedure at Lakeland College for 16 years.
FISCAL IMPACT: None.
GROWTH MANAGEMENT IMPACT: None.
LEGAL CONSIDERATION: None.
STAFF RECOMMENDATION: That the Board of County Commissioners present the service
award to Mr. Adelstein and recognize him for his seven years of service as a Planning
Commissioner, Collier County Planning Commission.
