RESOLUTION NO. 2001- 126
A RESOLUTION OF COLLIER COUNTY FLORIDA, AMENDING ARTICLE IV
(D) OF THE COLLIER COUNTY PARKS AND RECREATION DEPARTMENT
FACILITIES LICENSE AND FEE POLICY RELATED TO BEACH PARKING
AND LAUNCHING BOATS
WHEREAS, the Director of Parks and Recreation has recommended to the Board
that changes be made to the Collier County's Parks and Recreation Fee Policy. This fee
policy was last amended by Resolution No. 2000-335 on September 26, 2000. The
Director recommends adding a boat launch fee and authorizing annual boat launch
permits to launch boats; and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners hereby accepts the
recommendations of the Director of Parks and Recreation.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY
COMMISSIONERS OF COLLIER COUNTY that:
Article IV, Section D, of Collier County's Park and Recreation Fee Policy, as
amended, is hereby amended as follows:
"Vehicle Parking Facilities. Beach aRB beat parking facilities, not limited to,
Barefoot Beach Park, Barefoot Beach Access, Vanderbilt Beach Park, Clam Pass
Park, Gulf Shore Access, Tigertail Beach, South Marco Beach Access have a
parkin~ fee, inclusive of sales tax, at a rate of $3.00 per day. Collier County
residents with beach parking permits will be exempt from !fie this $3.00 per day
parking fee at beach parking facilities. Collier County residents may obtain a
beach parking permit at no charge. Vehicles with beach parking permits will not
be charged fi this beach parking fee.
Fees shall be paid to launch boats from Collier County boat launch facilities.
including. but not limited to. Bavview Park. Cocohatchee River Park. 951 Boat
Ramp. and Caxambas Park. Annual recreational boat vehicle ~ launching
permits may be purchased by all residents or visitors for an annual fee of $60.00
for launching boats only for non-commercial use. Peffnits are !l'Iailoo)e at all

boat launch vehicle that does not display an annual recreational boat launchinl?
permit shall oay a launch fee of $3.00. inclusive of sales tax. for each boat
launched at a Collier County boat launching facility for boat launches for non-
commercial uses. Vehicles used to launch a boat for any commercial purpose are
required to display an annual commercial boat launching permit. The cost for
each commerciallaunchinl? permit is $100. In addition. a launch fee of $3.00
shall be paid for each boat launched for any commercial purpose.
All of these Permits are available at all Collier Countv Parks and Recreation
Community Centers."
