EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
Recommendation for the Board of County Commissioners to approve a budget amendment
recognizing additional year ending fiscal year 2008 carryforward within Rock Road MSTU
Fund (165) in the amount of $10,300 to improve Iimerock roads.
OBJECTIVE: To utilize additional fiscal year ending 2008 carryforward totaling $10,300 to
improve limerock roads within the Rock Road MSTU improvement district.
CONSIDERATION: The adopted fiscal year 2009 budget for Rock Road MSTU Fund (165)
shows carryforward revenue from year ending 2008 in the amount of $6,500. Certain invoices
scheduled for payment in 2008 were delayed and thus payments were posted in fiscal year 2009.
This situation has led to an understatement of fiscal year ending 2008 carryforward by an
estimated $10,300. Recognition of this additional carryforward revenue for use in fiscal year
2009 will be appropriated and used to improve limerock roads within the MSTU.
FISCAL IMPACT: A budget amendment totaling $10,300 representing the additional
unbudgeted fiscal year ending 2008 carryforward is necessary and will be used to pay for
limerock road improvements within the MSTU.
LEGAL CONSIDERA nONS: This item has been reviewed and approved by the County
Attorney's Office and is legally sufficient for Board action.~SRT
GROWTH MANAGEMENT IMPACT: There is no Growth Management Impact associated
with this Executive Summary,
RECOMMENDATION: That the Board of County Commissioners approve a fiscal year 2009
budget amendment recognizing $10,300 in additional carryforward to improve limerock roads
within the Rock Road MSTU Improvement District - Fund (165).
