EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
Recommendation that the Board of County Commissioners accept the Report of Interest
for the fiscal year ending September 30, 2008 pursuant to thc Florida Statute 218,78 and
Purchasing Policy XII Section E, pertaining to J<'lorida Prompt Payment Act, For the fiscal
year ending Scptcmber 30, 2008 no interest was paid,
OBJECTIVE: To obtain Board approval and acceptance of the Report of Interest for the fiscal
year ending September 30, 2008.
CONSIDERATION: Pursuant to Florida Statute 218,78, in December of each year each local
governmental entity shall report to the Board of County Commissioners the number of interest
payments made by it during the preceding fiscal year and the total amount of such payments in
excess 0 f $250.
Pursuant to Board Purchasing Policy XIl, Section E, tile Purchasing Director and the Finance
Director shall jointly submit this report.

RECOMMENDATION: That the Board of County Commissioners approve and accept the
