EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
Recommendation for the Board of County Commissioners to approve a bndget amendment
to recognize revenne for the Congestion Management, TIS Review, PUD
Monitoring/Traffic Counts PIL, and PUD Monitoring/Fair Share Projects within the
Transportation Supported Gas Tax Fund (313) in the amount of $630,271.32
OBJECTIVE; To obtain approval from the Board of County Commissioners to approve a
budget amendment to recognize revenue for the Congestion Management, TIS Review, PUD
Monitoring/Traffic Counts Payment-in-Lieu, and PUD Monitoring/Fair Share Projects within the
Transportation Supported Gas Tax Fund (313) in the amount of $630,271.32.
CONSIDERATIONS: Funds have been collected specifically as payment-in-lieu, project
review fees, and Fair Share payments from the application and monitoring process. These funds
are required to be tracked and spent on projects for which the developments were identified for
mitigation or on consultant contracts to perfonn the studies on the developments behalf under
required monitoring conditions.
These funds were collected in fiscal year 2008 and exceeded the revenue budget. We wish to
recognize these funds and have the funds transferred into the appropriate project accounts as
follows;

FISCAL IMPACT: In fiscal year 2008, money was deposited into the Transportation
Supported Gas Tax Fund. A budget amendment is needed to recognize additional revenue and
appropriate into the correct projects in the amount of $630,271.32.
LEGAL CONSIDERATIONS: This item has been reviewed and approved by the County
Attorney's Office, is not quasi-judicial and requires no ex parte disclosure, requires only a
majority vote for approval, and is otherwise legally sufficient for Board action.-SRT
GROWTH MANAGEMENT IMP ACT; Thcre is no Growth Management Impact associated
with this Executive Summary.
RECOMMENDATION: That the Board of County Commissioners approve the necessary
budget amendment.
