APPOINTMENT OF MEMBER(S) TO BLACK AFFAIRS ADVISORY BOARD
OBJECTIVE: To appoint I member to fulfill the remainder of a vacant term, expiring on June
25,201 I, to the Black Affairs Advisory Board.
CONSIDERATIONS: The Black Affairs Advisory Board has 2 vacancies due to
resignations. This 9 member committee identifies and evaluates problems unique to the Black
Community, reviews and recommends ways to ensure open communication between the
minorities and Collier County Government and provides periodic reports to the Board of County
Commissioners. A list ofthe current membership is included in the backup.
