Proiect Description: The project requirements include the expansion and improvement
of Santa Barbara Blvd from four (4) lanes to six (6) lanes for 5.25 miles (8.4 Ian) and of
Radio Road from two (2) lanes to four (4) lanes for 1.22 miles (1.96 km). The scope of
the work includes bridge widening over Interstate 1-75 and Golden Gate Canal, drainage
improvements, utility relocations, noise abatement walls, signalization and lighting
enhancements, and landscaping improvements.

Current Proiect Status: Project on Schedule with 79.7% percent of the work complete
and 68.2% percent of the contract time elapsed as of October 31 st, 2008. Value of work
completed and stored to date (10/30/08) is over $49.4 Million. Traffic on Radio Road east
of Santa Barbara Blvd has been switched for the last phase of construction and Santa
Barbara Blvd north of the Canal Bridge will also be switched into the last phase of
construction in the next few weeks.
